Blues to greens to grays, saturated colors spice up accent walls, or in some cases, entire rooms in this year’s show homes. Look for these moody hues in bedrooms, powder rooms and special activity rooms. 

Added Texture

Forget flat: It’s all about texture in the show homes. Walls pop with trim details. You’ll find plenty of plush from throw pillows to throw rugs to soft bedding. 

Metallic Sparkle

Look up, look down, look all around . . . there are plenty of shiny objects to catch your attention. Gold is one of the latest design trends and is hot in light fixtures and cabinetry hardware.

Front porches to courtyards to second-floor balconies, outdoor spaces are always Homearama favorites. Be sure to see how these spaces are furnished and accessorized. You might go home with a few ideas for enjoying the outdoors at your home.

Autumn is a beautiful time to visit Union Village: The corn fields are golden and the trees are turning colors. The warm tones and textures are on display in our show houses, too.
