Homearama® 2021 Lifestyle Edition opens to the public from 12-8PM on Oct 10, 2021.
Kids Construction Day is from 12 – 4 pm in partnership with United Way of Warren County . October is Careers in Construction Month, and to celebrate, we’re having a special event just for kids! We’ll showcase how to use tools and equipment for the construction truck-loving kid in your life. The event ties the craftsmanship on display at Homearama® and the passion for building, tinkering, and creating to the power of the skilled trades. Regional partners and members of the HBA of Dayton will be on-site to engage students with hands-on learning of some basics of the skilled trades, the ability to build and tinker, while exploring the possibilities of the trades.
The Kids Construction Day is a FREE opportunity to expose students K-8 throughout the region to the skilled trades with prizes given away for completing the various activities of the Day. HBA Dayton drawstring bags, Amazon Gift Cards, and multiple GRAND PRIZES including iPads and three (3) $1,000 awards contributed to a student’s 529 College Plan on behalf of the HBA.
Food Trucks from Kona Ice and What the Taco from 12 – 4 pm.
Tailgate Party for the CIN vs. GB game and the PIT vs. DEN game at 1 pm.
Food truck from Dirty Dawgs & Fries from 4 – 8 pm.
Planes Moving & Storage is collecting clothing donations for the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) each day of the show. Attendees can drop their donations of clothing for men, women, infants, and children in the Planes container located near the parking lot before entering the show.
